Kismetal Design

kis·met. destiny or fate. met·al. a solid material that is typically hard, shiny, malleable, with good electrical and thermal conductivity.

Kismetal Design is a collection of beautifully crafted nature-inspired jewelry designed and created by Kalamazoo metalsmith, Lauren Gould. Our focus is on one-of-a-kind pieces featuring carefully chosen semi-precious stones. We work closely with our stone vendors and lapidary artists to ensure our stones are genuine and ethically sourced.

Each piece is crafted with traditional metalsmithing techniques using an assortment of metals ranging from brass, silver, 14k gold fill, and solid 14k gold. Many of our designs also utilize genuine succulent plants cast in metal using the burnout casting technique. Due to the nature of this method, each succulent is completely unique and cannot be replicated.

Our goal is to bring you modern and timeless handmade pieces that will last you a lifetime and give you a story to tell. Our custom designs are never reproduced, so it is guaranteed that your piece is one-of-a-kind and designed especially for you.
